The Wine VII & VIII set from the Vetro Di Oro collection starts with a 10 x 10 glass body to which a Sublimation transfer decal is then applied to the bottom of the plate. Placed over this decal is either gold or silver metal leaf, followed by a lacquer coating. Once complete, the glass is adhered to a 13 x 13 beveled frame made of medium-density fiberboard which has been covered in a vinyl wood grain veneer. Artist: Nicole Etienne is a fourth generation artist that paints in a style that blends the classic values of traditional still life with the cubist approach of depicting objects without geometric perspective. Etienne studied at the University of California and the Lorenzo de Medici School of Art in Florence, Italy.
