Body: I ordered the Masterpiece Bedroom Vanity Set by Powell Furniture on Oct.
8, 2007 and couldnt believe it when it was delivered just one week later. The
delivery time was phenomenal, but I have to say that altho the item was packed
very well with precautions taken for damage in shipping, the vanity table still
managed to arrive with the front upper right corner slightly smashed. It was
not bad enough for me to return the whole thing and we used Olde English polish
to disguise it, but I have to say here that they just dont make furniture like
they did in the old days. Everything is compressed material and the wood they
do use is of uncertain species. You also have to put it all together yourself,
but this came with no real directions and really needed none. It was quick and
effortless. All hardware was included and all holes matched. I dont know how
they finished this piece, but it has an odor from the finish that is still coming
off it after a week. I suspect this will eventually go away and Im not worried
about it...its very slight, but noticeable. Overall, I like the furniture a
lot, but these are not of the quality that our parents furniture were. This
piece was $499, including shipping.....I think that it is overpriced for what
you get....but everything in this catagory of furniture is priced comparably,
elsewhere, so I guess its a moot point. I am not sorry at all that I bought
it and I suspect it will serve me well, but I do long for the days when people
really took pride in making furniture well. As far as Totally Furniture goes,
I would most certainly buy merchandise from them again.

Body: During my interactions, I had some issues, but customer service did take
care of me. After I placed my order I found a cheaper alternative elsewhere.
I called to cancel my order but they matched the price resolving the concern.
Regarding shipping, they beat their estimated ship date by a few days, so that
was nice. Lastly, when I received the product form FedEx the box had been beaten
up a bit, resulting in one key assembly piece being damaged inside. I dont know
if it was damaged in transit, or at the warehouse. Another call to customer
service and they immediately processed a request to replace the part. This will
take 1-3 weeks to ship, so I am waiting on it. I was able to assemble the unit
and use in the meantime. Overall, I would buy form them again.

sent them to customer service, spoke with a representative on the phone....immediately
it was determined that a new piece should be shipped. excellent customer service

of the piece call me the same evening. mya in customer service was awesome -
knowledgeable, kind, and dealt with the whole incident efficiently and in a

it on the yahoo, I decided to order it. I had assumed that since the shipping

for our country kitchen, we found Totally Furniture. They had a unique, carved,
Victorian Oak hall tree, with a bench, hooks, mirror, and top shelf--everything
I was looking for in this purchase. We found the price reasonable, and shipping
charges were consistent with other merchants. Internet info stated assembly
required, which we understood from the beginning. The item was shipped, we received
several emails apprising us of the timeframe for delivery, and it arrived much
sooner than expected. It was in perfect condition--including the lovely mirror.
We followed the picture instructions for assembly, and every piece was precisely
cut and fit together perfectly. We now have a beautiful piece of furniture to
enjoy for years and pass down to our children. We would highy recommend this
merchant for quality, price, and customer service--and would definitely use

Body: The merchandise I purchased was received in my home in a timely fashion,
although I received an e-mail from the merchant dated 3/8/06 stating there was
a delay in the shipment from the manufacturer, then another e-mail on 3/14 stating
that it would not ship until 3/21/06. However, it arrived at my doorstep on
3/15/06! I certainly was pleasantly surprised, but wonder if this merchant susbcribes
to the customer service notion of offer less than you can deliver, so the customer
will always expect less and receive more than expected, and wont complain about
a late shipment. In any case, the merchandise arrived in less than 2 weeks from
the order date, in good condition and is an excellent quality of furniture.
Overall I am very pleased with the purchase but could have done without the
heartache of thinking I had to wait several more weeks for the merchandise (especially
when it had already been posted on my credit card!).

with a discount coupon for order that total $11 more than my total order, when
I requested this. The furniture looks great, and all detailing is of very good
quality. A ready-to-assemble chair was easy to put together, as promised. There

Body: I ordered a jewelry armoire that my wife wanted as a gift for Christmas.
The order was placed via the website. I purchased the item through Totally Furniture.
Although they had comparable prices to other sites, I decided to go with them
as they offered discounts depending on the amount the customer spent on their
order. I was pleased that Totally Furniture immediately confirmed my order by
e-mail, including the total price charged to my credit card and the estimated
date of arrival. I was worried that the shipment would not arrive by Christmas,
but I was so relieved when it arrived by the 24th. They also sent an e-mail
confirming the item had been shipped, and returned my call that I placed afterhours.
Although the item was defective, my wife immediately sent Totally Furniture
an e-mail and within a few days the damaged piece had been picked up and a confirmation
e-mail was sent with an estimated arrival date of the new furniture. We should
be receiving it within a few weeks as the warehouse is closed through the holidays.
